Australian Federal Police
Police will have a interactive display where children can learn more about the police in a fun and friendly way. This display will include a special guest appearance by Constable Kenny Koala and the AFP Ceremonial Horses
SES
State Emergency Service Woden Unit will provide information about the services they offer and community education, such as their Storm Safe messages. Children will enjoy the opportunity to climb aboard the newly arrived SES tanker. For more information, please visit wodenses.org.au
YMCA of Canberra
Based at the Health and Wellbeing Hub at Chifley, YMCA of Canberra provide a variety of programs and services for children that will be on display at the festival, such as:
Educational Gymnastics: The YMCA offers educational gymnastics from the Chifley Health and Wellbeing Hub and will be bringing some of the Ed Gym equipment to the festival for parents and children aged 0-5 years to trial. Educational Gymnastics provide young children with balance, movement and coordination skills in a fun environment.
Family Games: The YMCA will be providing some family-fun for families with children; gross motor skills including catching throwing are included into this fun activity. Fitness and laughter for the whole family.
Players Football Club
Players Football Club provides opportunities for children aged 4-12 years to get involved in the wonderful team sport of football. Come down and get some information and have a try at kicking a goal!
