Woden/Weston Family Day Care

Family Day Care provides fully licensed, quality care for children up to 12 years of age in the homes of qualified child care workers.

Care is provided for small groups of children in an environment that encourages participation, activities, learning and positive development.

Family Day Care is a flexible service that can easily match the needs of all types of families. Types of care include:

• Full-time care
• Part-time care
• Casual care
• Before/after school care
• Vacation care
• Care for children of shiftworkers
• Emergency care

All Family Day Care workers are well resourced, trained and up-to-date with current child care practices. A co-ordination team recruits, monitors and trains carers and assists families to chose a carer that matches their individual needs.

Family Day Care is a rewarding child care option for children of all ages, their families and Home Based Child Care Workers.

The Federal Government's Child Care benefit is available for eligible families.

Current costs are:
CURRENT FEES AS OF 4/07/11

Penalties:
Standard (per 15 minutes or part thereof): $5.10
Non-standard (per 15 minutes or part thereof): $6.20
Casual: $6.20
