Student Assistance

Woden Community Service Inc is committed to assisting students prepare for
working in the community sector by offering a range of work experience and
placement opportunities as part of their professional studies. Woden
Community Service Inc. is also committed to ensuring that the sector is
staffed by people with appropriate skills and experience to deliver quality
services.

Woden Community Service Inc. provides students with opportunities to
undertake work experience and placements as part of their tertiary studies.
High school students have undertaken work experience in Lollipop Child Care
Centre to understand the requirements of the child care industry first hand.

Canberra Institute of Technology, Canberra University, the Australian
Catholic University and Charles Sturt University students have participated
in placements at Woden Community Service as part of their tertiary degrees
in Social Work, Community Development and Child Care. Supervision by appropriately qualified and experienced staff is available.
