Community Supported Respite

The community supported respite (CSR) program offers young people with physical and intellectual disability, aged of 12 and 25 with personalised support while accessing the community.

The term time program runs between 3pm to 5:30pm with school holiday programs between 9am to 4pm.

The CSR program is funded by the ACT department of disability, Housing and Community Services to provide 18 places during term time. Each place equates to 6 hours a week. During the holiday program CSR is funded to provide 15 places consisting of 14 hours of support.

CSR supports service users to meet their individual needs and achieve personal goals through skills development, facilitation of new and positive relationships in the community. The program offers support in a sensitive and responsive manner for participants to access a range of social and recreational activities.
