Woden Youth Advisory Group

A team of up to 8 young people representing the centre participants meets with a Youth Centre staff member and a WCS management representative on a regular basis to raise issues, guide decision making, propose new directions and represent and promote the service and its participants.

What’s Happening Now?

Youth On Film – a film project, funded by the Canberra Community Grants Foundation.

Every Wednesday & Thursday afternoon from 3.00pm - 5.00pm there is a multimedia project involving all aspects of making a short film.

The resulting short films will be premiered at a film night launch in early December. It is hoped that this event will be the beginning of a regular event for the Centre.

The Youth Art Project is ongoing with more work currently underway to involve young people in art projects that are improving the aesthetics of the Centre.

As part of the regular business at the centre, WYAG will be organising and hosting regular pool competitions with other centres and local agencies. Why not come and join us, or organise a team and try to beat us!
