Dan English joined WCS as CEO in January 2025. He came to WCS from leadership roles within the National Disability Insurance Agency and Guide Dogs Australia, where he served as CEO. Dan also co-founded a business with his wife, providing disability services and supporting Indigenous communities across remote Australia in the Ngaanyatjarra Lands of Western Australia, Kalgoorlie, and Alice Springs.

Ashleigh Bellingham
Executive Manager, Children’s Services

Ashleigh brings a strong ethos of ensuring children’s safety with over a decade’s experience in the Early Learning sector and a very strong background in Quality and Compliance management. Ashleigh brings a commitment to quality, compliance, governance and community impact. Ashleigh holds a Diploma of Children’s Services and is completing a Bachelor of Education at Charles Sturt University.

Leanne Heald
Executive Manager, Community Programs

Leanne Heald joined WCS in February 2016 and joined the Executive Team in March 2023. Leanne has been working within the community service sector, for both government and community-based organisations in Canberra and Western Australia for nearly twenty years. Specialising in mental health, disability and community outreach, she has supported vulnerable community members to access the supports they need to thrive. She has managed emergency relief agencies, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) programs and most recently, WCS’s mental health suite of services.

Todd Everett
Executive Manager, Community and Commercial Services

Todd brings a wealth of experience in strategic and operational leadership from an extensive career managing diverse operation, initially in the Australian Defence Force and later with Serco, one of Australia’s largest human services providers. Todd will oversee aged care, canteens, catering and venue hire services across WCS.

Vishal Maharaj
Executive Manager, Shared Services and Chief Financial Officer

Vishal was previously the General Manager of Finance at Northside Community Service and returns to take on the expanded portfolio of Shared Services across both organisations. Vishal is a Certified Practicing Accountant and has extensive experience in financial leadership across the community services sector, having held senior roles at YWCA Canberra, Community Services #1, and DUO Services Australia. Vishal also holds a BA in Accounting and Information Systems.

Georgie Lorenzi
Executive Manager, Quality and Compliance

With over a decade of experience in early childhood education and community services, Georgie has led diverse programs supporting children, young people, and families, with a particular passion of supporting those whose voices are often unheard. Georgie holds a Bachelor of Education and has worked in both frontline and regulatory roles, bringing deep expertise and a strong advocacy for inclusive, high-quality care across a broad range of highly regulated programs.
