Out of School Hours care (OSHC) Coordinator

Woden Community Service is currently seeking three (3) energetic Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Coordinators. The OSHC team is committed to providing quality services for families of pre-school and primary school children, from four (4) to twelve (12) years of age.

The Coordinator is responsible for leading the team whilst ensuring the delivery of  a high quality program in line with the relevant frameworks, as well as building strong relationships with the children, families, school personnel and colleagues.

If you are working towards or have relevant tertiary qualifications in Children’s Services with extensive skills, knowledge and experience in OSHC, you are encouraged to apply.

Role: As an OSHC Coordinator, your role will be to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for families, including children with additional needs. In order to meet the National Quality Standard, you will ensure a high quality service which complies with all regulatory and legislative requirements. Your role will also include managing employees’ performance using a formal process as well as through coaching and mentoring. You will drive continuous quality improvement and optimise financial resources through the close monitoring of your budget. You will ensure that all staff and volunteers are aware of their responsibilities in relation to work health and safety and other policies and procedures. 

Salary: $64,315.91 pa pro-rata ($32.87 per hour).  Dependent on qualifications and experience.

Contract type: Permanent Part Time (27 – 33 hours per week)

Locations: Red Hill Primary School, Curtin Primary School and Margaret Hendry Primary School, Taylor
