HR Advisor

Use your HR business partner and workers' compensation case management skills to provide high quality, professional advice and support to a local community services organisation.

Full time role based near Woden Town Centre. Salary $77,016 to $80,610 p.a plus superannuation, generous salary packaging benefits and great leave entitlements.

About the role

Join the dedicated People and Culture team and deliver comprehensive HR advice and support to managers and employees on a range of topics including workers' compensation, return to work plans, WHS, performance management and workforce capability.

This is a HR generalist role with the opportunity to contribute to the growth and cultural change of WCS using your strong interpersonal, communication and case management skills.
You will have the opportunity to develop and implement innovative tools and strategies to develop manager confidence and capability. You will work collaboratively to deliver fit-for-purpose HR advice and programs across both operational and strategic areas of HR, including workers compensation case management, recruitment, employment conditions, people management, employee wellbeing and learning and development.

About you

You will love a challenge and bring an innovative mindset to all problems. You will have a demonstrated understanding of worker's compensation, the relevant legislation and experience in developing and implementing appropriate return to work plans. You will put the 'human' in 'human resources' and be able to quickly establish a strong rapport with all stakeholders.  

You will have well-developed communication skills, and the ability to work with a diverse range of people providing valued and customer-focused advice.
