West Woden Lift Off Band Comp - Heat Two is on this Friday!

Come support young local artists as they perform for judges and fans at the Woden Youth Centre this Friday, 18 November starting at 4pm.

Heat Two will see ten totally unique acts performing!  For the first time there will be an electronic DJ and other acts will performs in the genres ranging from acoustic, rap to progressive hard core.

About West Woden Lift Off Band Comp 2016

West Woden Lift Off Band Comp is an opportunity for young and up 'n' coming artists aged 12 to 25 to showcase their talent in a friendly and supportive environment.

This year’s competition will see nineteen acts battle it out over two heats held at the Woden Youth Centre.  From the heats, six acts will go on to the finals and perform for judges and fans at Woden Town Square on Friday, 25 November 2016.

The finalists will be in the running for a prize pack full of services that will set them up to take that next step in their musical careers. 

West Woden Lift Off Band Comp is proudly presented by Westfield Woden and YET, a partnership between Woden Community Service and Anglicare ACT. 

The drug and alcohol free event is sponsored by the ACT Government, BMA Magazine, Infidel Studios, and Devil Moon Communications & Events.
