WCS is very pleased to be offering a number of free parenting courses in the first half of this year.
The courses will be held on Monday evenings and Tuesday mornings. They will run for seven weeks and are aimed at giving parents greater confidence and the skills they need to support great parent-child relationships.
The courses are run by accredited facilitators - Jaymini Jogia and Mary Ford.
“We welcome parents to join us and we hope that they will learn new skills and strategies to help with their parenting. But, ultimately, we hope they begin to build positive lasting relationships with their children,” said Mary.
Parents who have participated in the past have told us:
“This course has helped me better understand what my child is trying to tell me.”
“I have found that talking and listening to other parents helps me to see that I am not alone with my struggles in parenting.”
“My relationship with my children is improving every day.”
The Parenting Courses are held at the WCS main office, Level 1 Building C, Callam Offices, 50 Easty Street, Phillip.
Tea and coffee is provided. The participants are invited to bring along food to eat.
Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. To find out more please contact Mary Ford on 6234 6821.
