Woden Experiment

The #WodenExperiment is a temporary revamp of the Woden Town Square which will be in place from February 2019 for six months.

Key features include a stage for community performances, smart benches with phone and laptop charging, flexible table settings next to areas set aside for pop up food and drink vendors, turf areas with sun loungers, an outdoor table tennis facility and a nature play space for children.

WCS is aiming for a dynamic activation of the Woden Town Square and will be engaging with a wide range of community members and groups who wish to utilise the space.

“To help Woden Community Service deliver this exciting project we are currently recruiting for a dynamic, energetic Community Development Project Officer. We would love to hear from any interested people keen on seeing the Woden Town Square come alive,” said Kim Spinks, WCS Director for Service Access and Support.

Acknowledgement of Country
