The children at Lollipop Early Learning Centre have been reciting their Acknowledgement of Country each day thanking the Ngunnawal people for taking care of the land on which we play and learn.
Yesterday, a group of Lollipop children opened our Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group meeting by giving their Acknowledgment of Country and sharing the actions they do to show their engagement with diversity and respect.
Their acknowledgement is: “Here is the land, here is the sky. Here are my friends and here am I. We thank the Ngunnawal people for the land on which we play and learn. Hands up, hands down. We’re on Ngunnawal land.”
