As the school year wraps up, we’re getting ready for a smooth transition into 2026 across our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC), Preschool, and Early Learning programs.
To help make things easy for families, we’re once again doing automatic rollovers – meaning your child’s permanent 2025 bookings can continue in 2026 without the need to reapply.
Need the same days?
If your child will continue in our service on the same days, we’ll roll over their current permanent bookings automatically. You don’t need to do anything to keep your place or existing bookings.
Need to make changes?
If you’d like to:
- Change your booking days
- Update a pending waitlist request
You’ll need to do so via My Family Lounge (web desktop version) or Kangarootime (depending on your child’s service) during the specific enrolment window (outlined below).
Current pending waitlist requests will be considered with priority. Current families with siblings are also encouraged to enrol and put through their booking requests now for 2026. This will enable our enrolment team to process these requests along with current children to best accommodate similar bookings for the children in your care.
Please note: If you have a current fortnight booking that needs to change for 2026, you will need to request a new booking with the days needed for 2026. If you are transferring between WCS services, you are still required to provide 2 weeks’ notice at your old WCS service. This will ensure you are not charged for 2 services at the same time.
Room Movements
Children that are in the Junior Program (P – Yr.2) will automatically be changed to the senior program (Yr. 3- Yr.6) for the 2026 school year. This will be reflected at the bottom of your My Family Lounge account (desktop version).
CCS Enrolments
CCS enrolments remain active year by year unless ceased by Centrelink. If you are receiving CCS, you will not need to do anything for this to continue into 2026 if there is not a gap of 14 weeks between attendances. More information will be sent in our 2026 welcome email to families.
Need to cancel?
If your child is in year 6, we will automatically end their booking at the end of the 2025 school year (18th December 2025). We will send confirmation of this cancellation by the end of the roll-over period. If you need to cancel your booking for any other reason, please email the enrolments team at enrolments@wcs.org.au
If you need to cancel your booking for any other reason, please email the enrolments team at enrolments@wcs.org.au confirming your child’s name, which service you use, and your last day with the service. You currently cannot cancel from within My Family Lounge or the Home App.
Please remember that 2 weeks’ notice is required in order not to be charged and it is a Child Care Subsidy requirement that children need to attend on the final booked day to avoid full fees being charged.
New families
New families can apply through Kangarootime (for Wanniassa, Hughes and Torrens) or My Family Lounge for all other services, with requests for 2026 considered between the outlined dates below.
