Recently, some of our wonderful seniors attended a new inter-generational group event called “Senior Moments for Juniors.”
Both groups met at the Lollipop Early Learning Centre in Corinna Street and spent time together in free play (led by the children) doing stories, puzzles, painting, selling ice creams from a shop, and many other enjoyable games.
For many of us, we often don’t have the opportunity to interact with youngsters. Our children also may not have older relatives in their lives who can give them that precious gift of one-to-one time, be it by simply playing and having fun together.
Judging by the smiles on faces and great comments by our seniors, it was obvious that our little group has been a success! If you would like to join our little group at Lollipop ELC, please contact Sandy on 0410 668 922.
