Managing Your Enrolment in 2025

We are transitioning to a new enrolment and booking platform, Kangarootime (KT Connect), to provide families with a more user-friendly and flexible experience. Depending on your service location, you will continue using My Family Lounge (MFL) or begin using Kangarootime while we transition.

Which Platform Should You Use?

Please refer to the rollout schedule below to see which platform applies to your service:

Services using Kangarootime:

  • From 12 May 2025: Torrens, Hughes, Griffith, and Wanniassa OSHC
  • From 16 June 2025: Curtin, Red Hill, Garran, Evelyn Scott, and Duffy OSHC
  • From 7 July 2025: Evatt Preschool and OSHC, Lyons Early Learning and OSHC, and Margaret Hendry OSHC

If your service is listed above, you will receive an email with instructions on how to set up your Kangarootime account before the go-live date.

Once your site goes live, all enrolments, bookings, and direct debit information must be managed in Kangarootime.

Once your invitation arrives, you can download the Kangarootime KT Connect app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Search KangarooTime, and a series of apps will appear. The app you’ll want to download is called KT Connect, it looks like this with a purple kangaroo:

Services still using My Family Lounge:

If your service has not yet transitioned to Kangarootime, please continue to use My Family Lounge to manage your enrolments and bookings.

Getting Started with My Family Lounge

My Family Lounge is an easy-to-use online system for managing enrolments across WCS Early Learning, OSHC, and School Holiday Programs.

 

Getting Started with My Family Lounge

Our enrolments are managed through My Family Lounge (MFL), an easy-to-use online booking system. Register just once, and you can access and manage enrolments for all WCS Early Learning, Out of School Hours Care (OSHC), and School Holiday programs.

Not registered yet? Follow these simple steps:

  1. Register: Create your MFL account by clicking this link or the buttons to the right!  If you already have an account, simply log in.
  2. Create Your Profile: Add your details, your child’s information, and required contacts.
  3. Request a Booking: Submit a booking request, and we’ll confirm availability within two weeks.

New to My Family Lounge?

Follow these simple steps:

  1. Register: Create your account via this link or use the button to the right. Already registered? Just log in.
  2. Create Your Profile: Add your family and child details, emergency contacts, etc.
  3. Request a Booking: Submit your booking request, and we’ll confirm availability within two weeks.

2026 Bookings and Rollover

Existing enrolments will automatically roll over to 2026 starting in August 2025. Please log in to your current system (Kangarootime) before the rollover begins to keep or modify your arrangements.

Child Care Subsidy (CCS) Assistance

The Child Care Subsidy helps cover fees for eligible families with children aged 0-13. The subsidy is paid directly to the service, reducing your out-of-pocket costs.

To apply:

  1. Sign in to your MyGov account (or create one if needed).
  2. Link MyGov to Centrelink under Services.
  3. Complete the CCS Assessment.

All WCS Education and Care Services are approved to operate under the Children’s Education and Care Assurance (CECA).

How to make a booking on My Family Lounge

Log in to your My Family Lounge account or create one following the steps above. 

Next, request a booking for your child or children, choosing the days and start date. We will automatically receive an email to inform you that you have submitted a booking request. You will be able to see the status of your request on your My Family Lounge portal. 

On the main Enrolment Management page beside your child’s name, click ‘Start/View Enrolment’, and please complete the enrolment form for the service/s you intend to utilise.

If we have availability an offer will be sent to you from do_not_reply@qikkids.com. You will then need to accept, decline, and change or decline.  If you accept you will then complete the Enrolment Form on the MFL portal.

For our Early Learning Centres, the Centre Manager will contact you to arrange orientation visits and delivery of the Centre Information Pack. 

Log in to your My Family Lounge account or create one following the steps above. 

Click ‘Start/View Enrolment’ beside your child’s name on the main Enrolment Management page. 

Select all the services you may want to use. Ensure all details marked with a red asterisk * are complete, then click ‘Submit’ (located on the left-hand side of the screen). 

You will return to the Enrolment Management page. 

Call 02 6147 3318, and we will process a bond over the phone and set up your access to the needed services (a Bond is not currently required for school holiday program access only). 

Please follow the same process as casual bookings. Once complete, please call 02 6147 3318 to setup booking access.  

If you have a permanent booking, you will generally be setup to access the SHP and, if you cannot see this, please call 02 6147 3318 to get this access enabled.
