Lollipop and Lyons Early Learning Centres (ELCs) recently invited parents and guardians for breakfast. This event was a perfect opportunity for them to meet with the room leaders and discuss their child/children’s plans for the year and set expectations and goals.

It was an informal meeting time where families were not only spending quality time with the educators but with their children and other families. Pick-up and drop-off time is normally quick and short when information about the day is provided.

During breakfast, it was time to socialise with other families and build relationships. The ambience around at that time was pleasant, social, and lively.

What an awesome thing to watch, educators, children, parents, and guardians together actively participating and collaborating in the curriculum!

Woden Community Service (WCS) manages two ELCs and one preschool program providing high quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to school age. Our centres offer a safe, secure and stimulating environment for your child.
