Evatt Preschool

Evatt Preschool Program offers a safe, secure and stimulating environment for your child and our friendly and qualified educators have your child’s best interests at heart. The structured program focuses on education outcomes and school readiness while providing a small group environment with a high educator to child ratio.

Preschool Before & After School Care

Our Preschool Before & After School Care programs cater for children attending the ACT government Evatt Primary School Preschool.  We serve a nutritious breakfast and afternoon tea with both indoor and outdoor play, leisure and recreation activities to engage your child at the beginning and end of each school day.

The program operates out of the WCS Preschool building. Our educators escort children to and from the adjacent ACT Government preschool, with a smooth handover between the fabulous WCS and Evatt Primary School preschool teams taking place each session.

Preschool School Holiday Program

Children who attend ACT Government Preschool during the school term are able to book into Evatt Preschool School Holiday Program. Each school holidays we aim to provide a range of incursions and in-service activities that align the with our OSHC, often joining together for these experiences. We serve a nutritious snack for afternoon tea and ask families to provide morning tea and lunch for their child.

Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)

Before & After School Care

Evatt OSHC provides a safe and caring environment with play, leisure and recreation-based activities that allow for choice, spontaneity and flexibility for children in Kindergarten to Year 6. At Evatt OSHC, our programs aim to celebrate diversity and recognise that play, fun, and humour are vital to school age care. Our educators also recognise the importance of building respectful relationships with children, families, the community and the environment. We have a strong partnership with Evatt Primary School.

The program operates out of the Evatt Primary School hall. Kindergarten students transition to and from their classroom with the assistance of a WCS Educator.

School Holiday Program

Our service provides a school holiday program for children from Preschool to Year 6. Each school holidays we aim to provide a blend of excursions, incursions and in-service activities, creating a fun, engaging and balanced program that supports the diverse interests and needs of children and families. We serve a nutritious snack for afternoon tea and ask families to provide morning tea and lunch for their child.
