At Wanniassa School, Woden Community Service (WCS) provides quality before school, after school and school holiday programs for children in Preschool to Year 6.
Wanniassa Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) offers a fun, supportive and inclusive environment for our children and families. We draw upon the interests of our children to create a program offering exciting games to play, craft activities, gardening, cooking and more. Our dedicated educators provide engaging and fun learning opportunities for the children to learn from and explore.
Before School Care
We serve a nutritious breakfast and offer inside and outdoor activities to engage your child’s brain as they start their day.
Our before school care program operates out of the school hall. Educators escort children in Preschool to their classroom, while all other children make their own way to their room.
After School Care
We serve a nutritious snack for afternoon tea and offer an inclusive environment with a focus on building children’s social skills, resilience and sustainability. Children are offered the opportunity to participate in leisure and recreation activities such as art, games, gardening, cooking, drama and more.
Our after school care program operates out of the school hall. Educators escort children in Preschool from their classroom to the hall.
School Holiday Program
Our service at Wanniassa provides a school holiday program for children in Preschool to Year 6. During school holidays, we provide a blend of excursions, incursions and in-service activities. This caters for all families and mimics a home like environment. We serve a nutritious snack for afternoon tea and ask families to provide morning tea and lunch for their child.
The educational program and list of activities offered are available on the Monday of week 6 of each school term.
